Ingredients
-
¾ - 1 pound Sirloin Tip Steak
-
2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
-
1 Pineapple
-
2 Bell Peppers
-
1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
-
1 Teaspoon Honey
-
1 Tablespoon Corn starch
-
1 Cup of white rice
-
1 dash Sriracha
-
Sesame seeds
-
2 Green onions
-
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
-
1 Teaspon Garlic Powder
-
1 Dash of pepper
Directions
Place the steak in a shallow dish and pour in soy sauce, sesame oil, corn starch and some brown sugar to make the marinade. Make sure the steak is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a more intense flavor.
Mix together honey, sriracha, soy sauce. Add garlic powder and a dash of pepper. Adjust flavors to your desire.
Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the steak in a skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet. While the steak is resting, prepare the bell peppers. Cut them into thick slices, removing the seeds and membranes.
Dice beef into small, thin slices.
Saute your bell peppers until soft and then toss beef back into the pan and drizzle your sauce over the top.
Turn off the heat and throw in your chunks of pineapple.
Mix well, serve with a side white rice and ENJOY!
Recipe Note
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions!
